چکیده

The general dynamic characteristics of the acoustic cavity with multiple partial partitions are presented in this thesis. A theoretical model has been developed for predictions, and several configurations analyzed. To describe apertures on interface subcavities, virtual air panel assumption is introduced into improved Fourier series system. governing equations coupling system derived by using energy principle. results obtained proposed firstly compared numerical calculations based finite element method (FEM). Subsequently, a configuration made up from rigid partitioned steel specifically built, forced responses have measured comparison validation. present excellent over most studied frequency range. Furthermore, visualizations interior sound intensity field three under different frequencies researched to illustrate transmission paths vibro-acoustic mechanism complicated believed be helpful optimal design insulation capacity.

Investigation on acoustic behavior of acoustic porous absorbers to ‎absorb sound energy and transmission loss index

In this study, the acoustic properties of porous absorbents with different porosity levels have been evaluated using different mathematical models. These models use one or more parameters of materials for calculating acoustic characteristics. In all of these models, materials are considered as equivalent fluid and reactionary characteristics have not been taken into account.

Vibro-Acoustic Analysis of Acoustic Liners For MRI Scanners

Introduction Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners are popular medical diagnostic devices providing useful information about patients in a noninvasive manner. However, a disadvantage of MRI is the high level of acoustic noise generated during scanning, which is caused by the Lorentz forces acting on the gradient coils bound within an epoxy resin cylinder. As the gradient current switches di...

Performing acoustic, vibro-acoustic and aero-acoustic computations using MUMPS

This talk focuses on the direct solution of large complex indefinite unsymmetric systems, that arise in acoustic, vibro-acoustic and aero-acoustic simulations. These systems are structurally symmetric and may contain some large dense blocks, e.g. due to the selection of hybrid modal/physical representations in the model. The first part of the talk gives an overview of the experienced MUMPS capa...

Transmission suite design for vibro-acoustic characterization of lightweight panelsEquation

This paper concerns with the design of an acoustic cavity (transmission suite) for the vibro-acoustic characterization of lightweight panels. This setup has the big advantage of being a small (1150x984x820 mm) which allows the identification of the studied behaviour for both structureand airborne excitation, on panels of different size (from A4 to A2) and thickness (up to 5cm). Particular effor...

Vibro-acoustic analysis of lightweight composite panels with damping materials

In this paper a numerical model to study the vibro-acoustic behavior of a laminated plate backed by a poroelastic foam layer is developed. Such approach consists on a coupled mitigation strategy aiming either mechanical vibration suppression or acoustic attenuation as well. The laminated plate model consists of fiber laminae with interleaved viscoelastic layers in standard constrained or integr...
